About the Internship
Mind Legal is inviting applications for a long-term Legal Internship at its Mumbai office. The internship is suitable for law students interested in gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic corporate and commercial law practice. The firm is looking for interns who are genuinely interested in legal research, drafting, and problem-solving and are willing to take ownership of their work while learning from experienced practitioners.
Eligibility
Candidates should be in the third year or above of a five-year integrated law programme or the second year or above of a three-year LL.B. programme.
Applicants should possess strong legal research and drafting skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, keen attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. They should also be able to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research on statutes, case law, and regulatory developments.
- Assist in drafting legal opinions, notes, pleadings, and commercial documents.
- Prepare research memoranda and case summaries.
- Support the team in client matters and ongoing transactions.
- Assist with due diligence and document review, where required.
- Attend meetings, hearings, and conferences, subject to the requirements of ongoing matters.
- Perform other legal and administrative tasks as assigned.
Areas of Exposure
Depending on ongoing matters, interns may gain exposure to Corporate and Commercial Laws, Commercial Contracts, Insolvency and Bankruptcy, Commercial Litigation and Arbitration, Regulatory Advisory, White-Collar Crime, and General Corporate Advisory.
Duration
The internship is for a minimum period of three months. Candidates available for six months or longer will be preferred.

Mumbai Office.
Joining Date
Immediate joining from 27 July 2026.
Additional Information
Selected interns will gain exposure to diverse corporate and commercial matters and practical experience working with lawyers on live assignments. They will also receive mentorship and constructive feedback from experienced professionals and have opportunities to develop their legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.
High-performing interns may be considered for future long-term opportunities with the firm, subject to business requirements.
