About the Opportunity
OnGrid is looking for a dynamic and business-focused Legal Intern to support its legal, contractual, compliance, and regulatory work. The role involves working with leadership, commercial teams, product teams, and external stakeholders in a technology environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
Support the Legal Team with contract management, legal research, documentation, and compliance-related activities.
Assist in drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and maintaining NDAs, Service Agreements, DPAs, and other commercial contracts.
Maintain contract documentation and correspondence and track key dates for renewals, extensions, and closures.
Present contract terms and legal positions clearly to internal stakeholders and external parties.
Identify and mitigate legal risks to protect the organisation from breaches and liabilities.
Support compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Monitor legal and regulatory developments relevant to the business and advise leadership accordingly.
Conduct research on applicable laws, regulations, judicial precedents, and regulatory updates relevant to the company’s business.
Lead contract negotiations and manage the full contract lifecycle.
Eligibility
Bachelor’s degree in Law is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of commercial and corporate law.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Sharp analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
Self-driven, resourceful, and comfortable working independently.
Strong problem-solving and organisational abilities.
Mode and Location
This is a full-time, five-day onsite internship based at Sector 54, Gurugram, Haryana. The working hours are from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
