About the Opportunity
The Office of Dr Amar Patnaik, Former Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) is looking for a Communications Intern to join the office for a 2-month internship.
Working hours are 5 days a week (approximately 15 working days from the office and 15 working days from home during the internship)
If you’re a student or recent graduate with an interest in public policy, politics and strategic communications, and enjoy understanding how research translates into meaningful public communication, we encourage you to apply.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Research on public policy, governance, politics, economy, climate, technology and current affairs.
- Content creation at the intersection of policy and politics.
- Tracking and analysing social media trends, narratives and digital conversations.
- Creating engaging content for social media.
- Basic graphic design and short-form video editing for digital platforms.
Eligibility Criteria
- Have a genuine interest in public policy, politics and governance.
- Understand social media and the kind of content people consume online.
- Can research, write and communicate ideas clearly.
- Have basic graphic design and short-form video editing skills.
