About the Organization
Vintage Legal is a legal academic and research-driven platform working in the field of open-access and selective legal publications.
It provides a wide range of academic materials, research support, and curated legal resources aimed at strengthening students’ and researchers’ understanding of law in a practical and application-oriented manner.
Its work spans multiple areas of law, with continuous expansion into emerging and specialised legal domains. Vintage Legal maintains active collaborations with universities, law chambers, and law firms, providing interns with meaningful exposure and opportunities to engage with the wider legal and academic community.
About the Internship
This is a training-cum-internship programme designed to combine structured learning with hands-on legal research work.
The programme will include:
- Orientation and task-specific meetings prior to each assignment.
- Training on research methodology, citations, formatting, and academic standards.
- Assignment of tasks only after ensuring clarity on expectations and compliance requirements.
- Weekly deadlines and regular virtual review meetings for guidance and feedback.
- One free workshop as part of the internship to enhance research and writing skills.
Nature of Work
Interns may be required to:
- Conduct legal research regarding intellectual property laws.
- Prepare legal briefs on assigned topics.
- Write research articles or book chapters.
- Work on case analysis, case summaries, and legal commentaries.
Publication and Certification
Interns will be provided with publication opportunities for quality and selected work.
Internship certificates will be issued strictly on the basis of performance and completion of tasks in accordance with the prescribed standards. Certificates will not be issued to all participants and will remain performance-dependent.
Eligibility
- Students pursuing 5-year integrated LL.B., 3-year LL.B., or LL.M.
- Open to law students across all years.
