About the Internship
The Law, Governance & Leadership Internship Programme is designed for students seeking practical exposure to law, governance, public administration, policy, institutional management and leadership.
The programme aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional practice through legal research, governance analysis, documentation, strategic assignments, professional interactions and leadership-oriented activities.

Eligibility
Applicants pursuing or having completed the following programmes may apply:
- LL.B., B.A. LL.B., B.B.A. LL.B. or LL.M.
- B.A., B.Com., B.B.A. or B.Sc.
- M.A., M.Com., M.B.A. or M.Sc. in Public Policy, Political Science, Public Administration or related programmes.
- Students with a strong interest in law, governance, public affairs, leadership, policy and institutional development.
Duration
The duration of the internship is one to three months.
Roles and Responsibilities
Legal Research and Analysis
- Conduct research on laws, regulations, constitutional provisions and judicial decisions.
- Study legal issues relating to governance and public institutions.
- Prepare case summaries, research notes and legal briefs.
- Analyse emerging legal and regulatory developments.
Governance and Public Administration
- Study government structures and institutional frameworks.
- Understand administrative processes and decision-making mechanisms.
- Research governance models, public policies and regulatory systems.
- Analyse issues relating to transparency, accountability and institutional effectiveness.
Policy Research
- Conduct research on selected public policy and governance issues.
- Examine the relationship between law, policy and administration.
- Prepare policy notes and analytical reports.
- Develop practical recommendations based on research findings.
Leadership and Strategic Thinking
- Develop leadership and decision-making capabilities.
- Participate in strategic discussions and problem-solving exercises.
