About the Internship
- Reviewing and analysing derivative agreements and related legal documents
- Drafting amendments and ancillary documentation for trading agreements
- Supporting client and counterparty onboarding processes
- Reviewing legal clauses, representations and warranties, and confirmations for derivative products
- Conducting legal research across the US, UK, EMEA and APAC jurisdictions
- Assisting senior team members on live projects and ad hoc legal matters
Derivative products may include:
- NDFs
- Index Options
- Index Swaps
Eligibility
The opportunity is open to:
- LL.B. or LL.M. graduates, including freshers
- Final-year law students
- Candidates with a keen interest in financial services and trading documentation
- Candidates with strong legal research, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Candidates with excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Prior internship experience with a law firm or reputed organisation is an advantage but not mandatory.
