About the Internship
The Karnataka Appellate Tribunal is offering a Legal Internship Programme for eligible law students. Interns will assist in judicial and research-related work, observe tribunal proceedings, and gain insight into the functioning of a judicial institution.
Eligibility
- Must be enrolled in a recognized 3-year or 5-year LL.B. programme.
Preference will be given to:
- Students in the 3rd year or above of a 5-year LL.B. programme; and
- Students in the 2nd year or above of a 3-year LL.B. programme.
- Strong legal research and drafting skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist judicial and legal officers in reviewing case files.
- Conduct research on statutory provisions and judicial precedents.
- Observe tribunal proceedings and assist in maintaining judicial records.
- Prepare and submit a comprehensive research report or paper at the conclusion of the internship.
