NV Associates, in collaboration with the National Justice Network, is inviting applications for a Legal Journalism Internship focused on reporting and content development for broadcast media, social media, and print media.
About the Internship
The Legal Journalism Intern will work on legal and public affairs reporting across India and international jurisdictions, subject to project requirements and applicable local laws.
Work Profile
The intern will be involved in researching and preparing legal and judicial news reports, assisting with legal journalism and media research projects, and developing content for broadcast, digital, and social media platforms.
The role may also include preparing news articles, reports, interviews, and background research; monitoring developments in law, courts, governance, and public affairs; and covering and analysing court proceedings, judgments, and legal developments.
Interns will be expected to follow professional standards of accuracy, verification, and responsible reporting.
Eligibility
Applicants pursuing or having completed an LL.B., B.A. LL.B., B.B.A. LL.B., or LL.M.
Students or graduates of Journalism and Mass Communication or Media Studies.
Students or graduates of Political Science, Public Administration, or Law and Governance.
Graduates with a demonstrated interest in courts, law, justice, governance, and public affairs.
Duration
The duration of the internship is one to three months.
Mode
The internship will be conducted remotely, online, or in hybrid mode.

Opportunities are available across Lucknow, Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, the USA, Canada, the UK, Europe, the UAE, and Singapore.
