About ARM Foundation
ARM Foundation is a social-impact organisation based in Kolkata, West Bengal. Its internship programme focuses on research, critical thinking, professional communication, and understanding how social-impact initiatives work in practice.
About the Internship
ARM Foundation invites motivated students and individuals to join its Online Internship Programme. The programme is designed to provide practical exposure to social problems, existing interventions, law, policy, community issues, CSR, and public outreach.
Interns will be encouraged to research real issues, analyse existing responses, identify gaps, and develop thoughtful and practical solutions. The programme is not limited to routine assignments or certificate completion.
Responsibilities
Depending on the internship programme and assigned responsibilities, interns may have the opportunity to conduct research on social and community issues, study the challenges faced by underprivileged and vulnerable communities, and analyse gaps in awareness, policy implementation, access to government schemes, and institutional support.
Interns may also study relevant laws, policies, government schemes, CSR provisions, and social-welfare initiatives; develop project proposals and recommendations; participate in online awareness initiatives and social-impact campaigns; and prepare research reports, presentations, awareness materials, and communication content.
They may present and discuss their work, receive feedback from the Foundation, and support fundraising and outreach through the Foundation’s official online channels. No cash handling or personal financial contribution is required.
Learning Opportunities
The internship provides an opportunity to develop research and analytical skills, critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, professional written and verbal communication, and an understanding of social welfare and community development.
Interns may also gain exposure to law, policy, governance, and CSR; develop evidence-based projects; strengthen public-outreach skills; and gain experience in presenting and defending their ideas.
