The internship is open to law students pursuing 3-year LL.B. or integrated 5-year law courses and offers an opportunity to work on legal and social issues relating to education, malnutrition, menstrual hygiene, elderly care, social justice, and human rights.

About the Internship
This one-month online legal internship is designed for law students seeking to connect academic learning with practical application. Interns will engage with real-world legal and social issues while contributing to rights-based awareness and policy research.
Roles and Responsibilities
Interns may be required to undertake the following tasks:
Conduct research on legal and policy frameworks relating to social justice issues.
Draft legal awareness materials, including pamphlets, posters, and digital content.
Develop campaign strategies and contribute to digital fundraising initiatives.
Track legal developments and propose policy recommendations.
Support the organisation’s pro bono legal network and outreach efforts.
Create educational videos or short-form content to promote legal awareness.
Learn the process of filing RTIs and contribute to advocacy reports on selected causes.
Eligibility
Students currently pursuing a 3-year LL.B. or an integrated 5-year law course, including B.A. LL.B. and B.B.A. LL.B.
Students from all academic years may apply.
Strong communication, research, and writing skills are required.
Interest in public interest law, human rights, and social impact initiatives is preferred.
Duration
The internship is for one month and is scheduled for October–November 2026.
Mode and Location
The internship will be conducted online. All tasks will be undertaken remotely with structured reporting and mentorship. Hamari Pahchan NGO is headquartered in New Delhi, India.
