About the Internship
Hamari Pahchan NGO is offering a one-month online legal internship for law students seeking to connect academic learning with practical application.
Interns will engage with legal and social issues relating to education, malnutrition, menstrual hygiene and elderly care. The internship will focus on rights-based awareness, policy research and community engagement.
Eligibility
Students currently pursuing a three-year LL.B. or an integrated five-year law course, including B.A. LL.B. and B.B.A. LL.B.
Students from all academic years may apply.
Applicants must have strong communication, research and writing skills.
An interest in public interest law, human rights and social impact initiatives is preferred.
Roles and Responsibilities
Interns will conduct research on legal and policy frameworks relating to social justice issues, draft legal awareness materials such as pamphlets, posters and digital content, and track legal developments.
They will also contribute to campaign strategies, digital fundraising initiatives, policy recommendations, the NGO’s pro bono legal network and outreach efforts. Interns may create educational videos and short-form content, learn the process of filing RTIs, and contribute to advocacy reports on selected causes.
Duration
The duration of the internship is one month, scheduled during October–November 2026.
Mode
The internship will be conducted online. All tasks will be completed virtually with structured reporting and mentorship.
