About the Internship
The internship shall be conducted entirely in Virtual Mode, enabling law students from different parts of the country to participate without any geographical limitations.
Throughout the internship, selected interns will be assigned practical legal assignments on a regular basis. These assignments are intended to simulate real legal work and will require careful legal research, drafting, analytical thinking, and application of statutory provisions and judicial precedents.
The assignments may include, but are not limited to:
- Legal Research
- Drafting of Bail Applications, Petitions, Notices and Legal Documents
- Case Law Analysis
- Interpretation of Statutes
- Legal Writing
- Preparation of Brief Notes and Case Summaries
- Client-Oriented Legal Problem Solving
- Drafting Exercises based on practical legal situations
- Research on recent judgments and legislative developments
Every assignment will be accompanied by a stipulated deadline. Interns are expected to complete and submit each assignment within the prescribed time. Timely submission, originality, accuracy, legal reasoning, presentation, and professionalism will be taken into consideration while evaluating the overall performance of every intern.
Practical Court Exposure
One of the unique features of this internship is the opportunity for deserving interns to gain practical court exposure.
Interns who demonstrate exceptional dedication, sincerity, discipline, punctuality, and quality of work during the internship may be shortlisted for an opportunity to explore the District Court, Muzaffarpur, under the guidance and supervision of the empanelled advocates of Nayayik Advisors LLP.
This exposure is intended to familiarize students with court procedures, filing practices, courtroom functioning, litigation strategy, and professional advocacy. Selection for this opportunity shall be purely performance-based and at the sole discretion of Nayayik Advisors LLP.
